Noah's First Hair Cut

Okay, okay...after many hints and comments about our blog needing to be updated, I finally got around to it today. Noah is napping and Brady is watching "Toy Story" and I have a little quite time. I tried to upload pictures that will fill in the past two months. Here goes...

Noah's First Haircut 1-09-2010

Noah had his first haircut today. He did very well. He sat on my lap and let Mrs. Martha cut his hair like a big boy. I teared up as I watched him change from my sweet little baby into a big boy. Time goes by so fast!

He looks like he is pouting, but I promise he was enjoying everything that was going on at the beauty shop!

Here is Noah with Mrs. Martha. Noah is a fourth generation customer. Martha used to cut Papa's hair, she still cuts both of my parent's hair, my hair, Brady's hair, and now Noah's.

Look at my big boy haircut!

Christmas Visits

We had a few visitors during the holidays. Grandpa Pinkerman, Zach, and Aunt Lisa stopped by for a visit on New Year's Day. Here are the three cousins hanging out on the sofa.

Ou good friend Kevin (aka "Chalkie") stopped by for a visit during the holidays. This was extra special because we don't get to see him very often becasue he lives in LA. Ryan was extra surprised when Kevin brought Chris to visit too. They are all old Haywood Cinema freinds.

Christmas 2009

Christmas morning was so peaceful until we heard the footsteps coming down the stairs and then our living room became crazy!

Santa brought Noah a rocking horse. He loves it when it says "neigh" and wags it's tail.

Grandpa gave Brady and Noah train buddy hats for Christmas this year. (I still have mine!)

Brady takes a breath and poses for the camera. Next, gift please!

Wow, this is overwhelming!

Christmas Eve

Here is Noah on Chrsitmas Eve at Grammy and Grandpa's house. He has fun opening gifts, but his favorite part was sitting in a box!

Brady got a new harmonica from "his" Bill and Nancy. Here he is playig it for everyone.

We visited with the Troutman's on Christmas Eve. I can't believe that I kept Susan and Nathan with they were little like Brady and Noah!

Brady's 3rd Annual Gingerbread House Build

This is the third year that Brady has decorated gingerbread houses. This year he did two!

Brady poses with his completed gingerbread houses. (Notice Noah in the background asking "Are they finished yet? I want down!)

Brady worked for almost 3 hours decorating the gingerbread houses. I only help with the frosting. He looks at the pictures on the boxes and tries to duplicate them. It amazes me that they hold his attention for so long.

Christmas in LaGrange

We visited Ryan's parents the weekend before Chrsitmas to celebrate the holiday with them. The boys had so much fun being with their grandparents.

Brady and Noah love their Aunt Amy.

Brady loves to check out Grandma's garden everytime we visit them.

We visited Santa at the Fresh Market. Brady really enjoyed talking to Santa, but as you can tell, Noah wasn;t quite sure about the whole thing!

Noah loved playing with the gifts.

Brady was a wise man in the Christmas program at school. In this picture he ws getting ready to give a gift to the baby Jesus.

Christmas Tree

Here is Noah checking out some ornaments while we were decorating our tree.
Brady very carefully placed each ornament on the tree (too bad it fell down 4 days later!)

Brady and Noah had fun looking at all of the trees and seraching for the "perfect" one. I love this picture because they were being sweet to each other and holding hands! (That doesn't happen very often!)
